For better government in clark countY, Washington

2014 Legislative Scorecard

For the past 20 years, the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Identity Clark County and the Columbia River Economic Development Council have developed joint legislative agendas highlighting the key needs and objectives of Southwest Washington's business and economic development communities in each year's state legislative session.  These agendas have been presented annually to our region's legislative delegation before the start of each session without any follow-up evaluation of the performance of the members of our delegation.

The 2014 Legislative Scorecard was developed from the 2014 Business Communities Priorities for the 2014 Legislative Session, as presented by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, the Columbia River Economic Development Council and Identity Clark County at the December 11th, 2013 Legislative Outlook Breakfast.  This proposed scorecard will serve as a model for future scorecards evaluating the  performance of our delegation in each session.

As we move into the 2015 Legislative Season, look for a new scorecard representing the 2015 Business Communities Priorities. Look for the completed scorecard at the end of the 2015 Legislative Session, as our legislative delegation's performance will be evaluated by the joint leadership of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Identity Clark County and the Columbia River Economic Development Council.
